Forgive me people, boaters and non-boaters alike, for I have been careless:
Last weekend, during the night of Saturday, July 26 and Sunday, July 27, we ‘lost’ our 9 foot dingy with an 8hp Yamaha outboard. I don’t know how it managed to escape, but it did. Yes, knotting 101 will be my next YouTube video. It was there one minute and gone the next!
The shenanigans occurred somewhere on or near Rosario Straights, kind of between Blakely and Cypress Islands. It was ebbing, so perhaps it went out to the blue yonder, but I am holding out for the scenario where someone spotted it, nurtured it home, and is reading this post now...
Anyway, the combo of a 9-foot, hard-bottomed dingy, an 8hp Yamaha outboard, along with the new rowing oars my boat partner bought last week, make this setup a real gem. In fact, it is so desirable that I am willing to buy it back for $500!
Did you know, the Yamaha starts on the very first pull?? I mean have you ever?!
The gem is 9ft long, light grey, has a white fiberglass hard-bottom, and some blue paint markings on its snout from where it nuzzles up to our big blue boat when in port.
Now, I understand the whole ‘finders keepers’ thing and if you can use it, enjoy it! Otherwise, please respond and I will readily come pick it up!!
If anyone has suggestions on where else I should post this for maximum exposure, please do let me know.
Thank you for your time and help.
Cheers
Bob
