Located in La Conner, WA, Mavrik Marine operates over 75,000 sq. ft. of climate-controlled production space. Our craftsmen enjoy a 4-day work week, Swing shift (Monday–Thursday, 2:30 p.m.- 1:00 a.m.) with overtime opportunities as needed.

Now Hiring: Press Brake Operator
Position Summary
The Press Brake Operator is responsible for safely setting up and operating press brake equipment to bend and form aluminum parts to specification. This role works closely with CNC router operators, welders, fitters, and production teams to ensure parts are accurate, organized, and production ready.
This is not simply a button pushing position. We are looking for someone who understands fabrication, material handling, layout, tooling, and production flow.
Responsibilities
• Set up and operate CNC and manual press brake equipment
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, cut files, and work instructions
• Form aluminum parts to precise dimensions and tolerances
• Verify bend angles, dimensions, and part quality before release to production
• Work with production and engineering teams to resolve fit up or dimensional issues
• Assist with material staging and organization of formed parts
• Maintain tooling, dies, and machine cleanliness
• Support continuous improvement efforts in fabrication flow and efficiency
• Follow all company safety procedures and PPE requirements
• Operate forklifts or material handling equipment as needed
• Cross train and assist in other fabrication areas when required
Preferred Experience
• Experience operating press brakes in a fabrication or manufacturing environment
• Aluminum fabrication experience strongly preferred
• Experience with chip breaking and material processing preferred
• CNC router experience is a major plus
• Marine manufacturing or heavy fabrication experience preferred
• Understanding of bend deductions, material behavior, and tooling selection
• Ability to use measuring equipment including tape measures, calipers, squares, and angle gauges
• Forklift experience preferred
Qualifications
• Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work on your feet throughout the shift
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a growing production environment
