About the Shop: We offer service to most makes and models of vehicles at our shop. From the basics of oil changes, tire rotations, brakes, and inspections, to engine & transmission replacements.
About the Owner: Todd Martinson, the owner of Superior Auto, is ASE certified with 29 years of experience. He graduated from Skagit Valley College in 1996. During that time, Todd interned at Nissan, and opened Superior Auto in 1999. He went on to be a certified technician for Ford and Mazda. He was a tech for Subaru, Honda, & Mitsubishi, and a Master Tech at Chrysler/Dodge for 13 years.
Technician Requirements:
- 3+ years of automotive mechanic experience.
- Excellent diagnostic skills.
- Ability to work well in team settings & independently.
- Strong time management, organizational, & multitasking skills.
- Must have own tools.
- Valid Washington state drivers license & good driving record.
- Comfortable with test-driving a variety of different vehicles.
- ASE certification preferred, but not required, dependent upon technician proficiency & experience.
Our shop is complete with factory tools, scan tools, tire machine, & A/C machines.
- Full-time, 40 hours per week. Monday-Thursday 9 am - 5:30 pm & Friday 9 am - 4 pm.
- Must be able to commute to 1491 Old Samish Road, Bellingham, WA 98229.
