Samish Bay Cheese is looking for someone to work cutting and packaging cheese as well as assisting filling wholesale orders. This person will also be a backup for weekend farmers market sales. In addition to cutting, packaging, the job includes delivering wholesale orders to our local Food Hub. When needed to cover for markets one or two weekend days would involve selling our dairy products and meats at the farmers markets in Seattle or Northwest Washington. Farmer Market work involves loading a company truck early in the morning, driving to and selling at a market, packing up at the end of the market and driving back to the farm.
Samish Bay has been making award winning organic cheese from our cows for 27 years and has great products, loved by loyal customers. Candidates should have good attention to detail, work well independently or with a team, be good at taking directions, be good at sales, have a clean driving record, able to lift 50 + lb. coolers, and love cheese, meat, and organic food.
Full time, Thursday through Monday. $17.50-$18.00 per hour plus tips. With tip pool, this can be $18.50 - $20.00.
