My name is Josh and I am the worship director at a church in Oak Harbor called Family Bible Church. I am seeking to connect with other local musicians to be apart of the church worship band. I am not your typical worship leader and am wanting to be apart of creating something new and original with this team. I have been playing music for 20 years and have training at Berklee College of Music in Boston, as well as training at Musicians Institute in Hollywood. I come from a rock music background, and it reflects within the worship band.

What I am looking to add to the team is the following:

Bassists
Drummers
Keyboardist (hopefully who also understands the role of using pads to create mood)
Guitarists (both acoustic and electric)
Vocalists (hopefully who have the ability and comfortability to be passionately and visually worshipping from the stage)

A little bit about me. I grew up on Whidbey Island and was not raised a Christian. I left the island when I was 18 to attend the two music schools mentioned above, and eventually found myself in Hollywood living the rockstar. I quickly found that “the rockstar dream” was not what I thought it was and left Hollywood heartbroken and hopeless. Long story short, I hit rock bottom at the age of 25 and cried out to God for help. That’s when I experienced the Holy Spirit for the first time. Life hasn't been easy since then, but I know I now have purpose!
