Hi my name is Josh Owen and I am a professional drummer of over 25 years and drum educator. Whether you are new to drumming or have been playing a while and want to improve I would love to help you achieve your drumming success! I have a music degree in music performance from Idaho State University where I specialized in percussion performance. In my years of playing I have had a diverse career from being a touring drummer in the punk and metal scene to working in studios and doing studio work, to covering a wide range of styles. I have the in depth knowledge and experience for teaching not just the foundations of drumming but much more such as understanding of rudiments, reading drum notation (charts), playing in odd time, and double kick drumming to give a few examples.
My teaching days are Monday - Thursday with 1 hour spots starting at noon up to 8pm. I teach from my studio in Arlington as well as online. My rates are $60 a lesson and lessons go for 1 hour. Book your lesson today and "Let's Play Some Drums!"
