I bought this new in 2009. It is unplayed. There is NOTHING making it any less than absolutely 100% pristine and like-new. The only thing missing is the new guitar paint smell. Has lived its 16 year privileged life in the TSA case, which is included. No scratches, no fret wear, funny smells, ugly stickers, etc. CL has lots of "like new" things listed that turn out to be nothing like new on inspection. This isn't one of them.

The color is glossy metallic and called, I believe, "pewter." This color was promptly discontinued for the American Standards, but lived on for the Eric Clapton models. I thought the original pickguard was rather drab and replaced it with this pearloid one. I had the guitar set up for .009 strings back in 2009. I think the original knobs were white and I changed those to black. Nothing electrically or electronically has been altered from the way an American Standard came back then.

I live more or less in the middle of Whidbey Island. I am often in Anacortes, Everette, Mukilteo, and Bellevue. So I can meet you somewhere if you're serious about it. I am not interested in trades or scams, but if you're got a nice Martin, Guild or Gibson acoustic I'd at least give that some thought.
