The Peerless Songbird is a thin hollow-body archtop model using a mahogany neck and maple laminate body. The Epiphone Casino was popularized by the Beatles (all three guitar players in the Beatles used them), but they are also regarded as a great guitar for playing everything from jazz to rockabilly.
Peerless make high-quality guitars in Korea as a subsidiary of Fujigen Japan. This particular guitar was built in September, 2009. Many of the Epiphone Casino guitars built in the 1980s and 1990s were built for Gibson/Epiphone by Peerless in Korea, but Epiphone moved production to China in the 2000s.
The P-90 pickups are "punchy" and "warm" clear, bell tone sound.
The neck shape is a rounded C to D shape.
The guitar is in like-new condition.
The case is a little dusty and may have a small amount of wear.
