Position Overview. We are looking for a mechanically inclined, reliable, self motivated individual to join our team in a hybrid role supporting shipping/receiving, delivery driving, and general shop operations. A successful candidate will assist our Logistics Coordinator and Production Manager with processing all in and outbound shipments, building crates, packing, labeling outbound shipments, and pickup/delivery of finished goods in company vehicles. This position requires work outdoors and indoors.
Responsibilities.
Shipping & Receiving
• Receive, inspect, and document incoming materials and deliveries
• Assist in preparing outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and proper packaging to meet customer specifications
• Assist with material handling, including loading and unloading metal, components, and tooling using appropriate manual lifting techniques and tools such as pallet jacks, forklifts and other material handling equipment
Delivery Driver
• Safely operate a flatbed truck up to 26,000 lb GVW (non‑CDL) or similar vehicle to deliver products to customers or vendors
• Secure and load materials to prevent damage
• Represent the company professionally at customer and vendor locations
Shop Helper
• Operate basic shop tools and equipment (training provided)
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe
• Support general shop tasks as needed
Facility Maintenance
• Sweep, clean, and support overall shop cleanliness
• Help maintain tools, equipment, and shared spaces
• Assist with shop cleanup, waste disposal, recycling, and maintain outdoor areas

Qualifications.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to work independently while following detailed instructions
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly
• Comfortable working in a fabrication or industrial environment
• Forklift experience is a plus (training available)
• Strong attention to detail and time management
• Ability to follow safety protocols diligently while working around machinery and fabrication equipment
Experience.
• Previous experience or familiarity with manufacturing or fabrication environments is preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided
• Experience operating forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks
• Strong attention to detail with good math skills for counting, measuring, and calculating shipment weights or quantities
Work Environment.
• Repetitive lifting and working in hot, cold, and/or wet work environments
• This job operates outside and at times in inclement weather as well as in a shop environment
• Must be able to remain standing/walking position for majority of the time
• There is exposure to machine oil, metal, plastic and wood particles, unpleasant odors, and noise
• Job functions on and around equipment will present the need for alertness, accuracy, and safety awareness
Schedule. Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts
Pay. $20-$26 depending on experience
