I provide individualized tutoring in reading, math, science, and history, with a focus on measurable academic growth. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Education and am currently working toward full licensure.
I bring over six years of tutoring experience, along with classroom support experience as a paraeducator and two years working closely with children in a home setting.
My work is results-driven. One of my students progressed from a 1st grade reading level (18 words per minute) to a 9th grade level (175 words per minute aloud) within a single academic year.
I have extensive experience supporting immigrant families and English language learners, as well as working with adult learners preparing for the GED. Many of my adult students have passed on their first attempt after targeted instruction.
I focus on building foundational skills, confidence, and long-term independence in learning. While still keeping the environment light and centered around the needs of the student.
