Part-Time Project Coordinator – Washington Construction (Greater Puget Sound)
Washington Construction, a licensed general contractor serving the Greater Puget Sound area since 2016, is looking for a reliable Part-Time Project Coordinator to assist with residential construction projects including custom homes, ADUs, renovations, and more.
About the Role
This is a flexible part-time position supporting the Project Manager with day-to-day coordination of materials, vendors, and construction crews. You'll help keep projects running smoothly by tracking progress, communicating updates, and occasionally visiting job sites to take measurements and photos or meet with clients.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate material orders and deliveries with vendors and suppliers
- Communicate with construction crews regarding schedules, materials, and project needs
- Track project progress and provide regular status updates to the Project Manager
- Serve as a point of contact between crews, vendors, clients, and the Project Manager
- Conduct site visits to take measurements, photos, and verify work progress
- Meet with clients on-site as needed to gather information or provide updates
- Maintain organized records, receipts, and project documentation
Requirements
- Construction experience with working knowledge of residential building practices
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans
- Familiarity with common construction materials (lumber, framing hardware, concrete, roofing, siding, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills (phone, text, and email)
- Reliable transportation (site visits throughout Snohomish and Skagit Counties required)
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision
Preferred
- Experience coordinating with subcontractors or vendors
- Familiarity with the Greater Puget Sound area and local suppliers
- Basic proficiency with spreadsheets and digital documentation
Compensation: Hourly, DOE. Flexible schedule based on project needs.
