The Truss Company is growing, and we want YOU to grow with us! We are looking for a hardworking, dependable, and safety-conscious individual to utilize their skills and advance with our company. We are currently seeking a full-time Millwright Maintenance Mechanic for our facility in Burlington, WA.
In this role, you will assist in maintaining our production equipment used for manufacturing roof trusses, as well as our fleet of delivery trucks and forklifts. If you have a strong mechanical aptitude, a great work ethic, and the ability to troubleshoot problems with limited supervision, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform safe, efficient preventative maintenance and repairs on manufacturing machinery, mechanical systems, and hydraulic equipment.
- Troubleshooting: Inspect, diagnose, and oversee complex equipment repairs, including working with PLCs and Encoders.
- Mobile Fleet Support: Assist with the maintenance of mobile equipment (e.g., forklifts and delivery trucks).
- Technical Support Collaboration: Communicate effectively with tech support via phone and email to resolve complex equipment issues.
- Documentation: Accurately document maintenance work, track parts, and report future repair or maintenance needs.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: 1 to 5+ years of manufacturing equipment maintenance experience (or equivalent technical school/training).
- Technical Skills: Strong electrical and hydraulic background; experience with PLCs, Encoders, and basic knowledge of computer-operated equipment.
- Welding: Welding experience is highly preferred.
- Physical Ability: Strong physical stamina; ability to perform demanding labor and frequently lift 50+ lbs.
- Schedule Flexibility: Must be willing to work overtime as needed, including occasional Saturdays.
- License: Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay: $28.00+ per hour, DOE.
- Overtime: This position is eligible for overtime compensation based on state wage and hour laws.
