About Us Jack Mountain Meats is a USDA-inspected smokehouse dedicated to producing high-quality smoked meats while maintaining strict food safety and sanitation standards. We are looking for a reliable Cleaner / Sanitation Crew Member to join our team.
Schedule
Evening shift starting at 4:30 PM until done (typically 5–8 hours)
Monday–Thursday to start, transitioning to Monday–Friday
Responsibilities
Wash, rinse, and sanitize all production equipment (knives, luggers, smokehouses, saws, etc.) to USDA standards
Sweep, mop, and maintain floors, walls, waste bins, and common areas
Remove trash and maintain janitorial supply areas
Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures
Report equipment or sanitation issues to management
Perform other cleaning and sanitation duties as assigned
Qualifications
Detail-oriented and dependable
Able to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 60 lbs.
Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods
Previous cleaning, sanitation, or janitorial experience preferred, but not required
Compensation & Benefits
$18.00 – $23.00 per hour (depending on experience)
Full-time status is 32 hours or more per week
