Thank you for looking. We are a new concept launch from a 35 year business in Motorsports.
" Back In Black" is the name of this table design. We are in this over $4000 in time and materials so take advantage.
We left all the original hammer marks, dents, cracks, all the character in the reclaimed Doug fir and it looks awesome. This is a one off table with a lifetime of family stories to be told at.
Our company is based on Whidbey Island and the name is West Beach Creations. A company being built on Passion and Design
After many years of concept, design then build we are launching what has always been a huge passion for us. While we have built items like this in the past for friends and clients we are finally bringing this concept and desire to market.
This is designed for a stunning dining table or Man Cave extraordinaire, desk or display table. The pictures do not capture the fit and finish on this is truly unique, overbuilt and stunning table.
This table has a reclaimed Douglas fir top originated from a saw mill in Port Townsend that was milled in the early 50's.
The top build is 4 solid pieces that were doweled, glued and clamped together for a life time of unbreakable strength.
After painstakingly sanding the tight grain Fir it was stained then sealed with a maintenance oil from a company named Rubio Monocoat. This was two coats of black and on the second coat with oil was the finish touch, massive penetration into the grain of this top. The pictures do not do this justice, the black stain makes the grain pop!!!!
The legs were cut then properly mig welded. This took many hours to perform before we placed all parts on a jig table and properly welded the structure together. The sturdiness of this table is unbeatable. The frame was then powder coated with a black wrinkle finish that give it huge richness and depth. This with the black contrast will make you stand out at your dinner parties, trust me your friends do not have one that matches. That is one of our plans as we build the company, each table will be different, no cookie cutter stuff here!
The top is bolted through the frame using 3/4 black hammered forged style hardware.
Dimensions:
Douglas fir top 2 1/4 inch thick.
76 1/2 inches long, 4-6 guests with room.
35 1/4 inch wide table top.
28 3/4 inches from floor to table top.
4x 1 1/2 inch steel legs, mig welded way overkill for a table.
3/4 inch Forged style black hand pounded carriage bolts.
4 solid reclaimed Douglas fir planks, biscuit dowels, glued, clamped for strength and craftsmanship.
All items used for this design and build are American hand built items.
Please email your number for a prompt call back for viewing and purchase. We can assist with delivery if required.
$1500 we are lowering our product design inventory. There is way more in this for labor and materials. Materials and coating alone is far more than this.
Many additional builds and designs are coming along with website/ Instagram launch.
