Vintage Weller desoldering station. The vacuum/pressure pump runs fine, and I installed a standard soldering tip to the handle and it heats up OK. But the solder receptacle (and tiplet) is missing! It can be used as a solder station as-is; just use standard Weller tips.

I have a packing slip from Jul1988 from Cooper Ind. (the parent company of Weller at the time) addressed to my late father, so I assume he bought this for his own use. It looks to be in very good condition, not used in production. He passed in 2011 and I'm still finding things like this every few months.

It comes with a parts breakdown and vintage Cooper catalog as shown. Again, it is missing the solder collection chamber and there are no tiplets (tips) that screw into it, so it cannot be used for desoldering until that part, or a replacement pencil with one installed, is found. DS103, DS227, and many others should fit.

Oak Harbor is on north Whidbey Island, accessible via Deception Pass bridge or Mukilteo ferry.
