Hammond step down/up transformer: The 170C is a 300VA hard wired Line Autotransformer with single winding and 8-inch minimum length flexible leads. This transformer does not provide isolation and can be operated in 230VAC to 115VAC step down or 115VAC to 230VAC step up forms. This panel mountable transformer can be used for where equipment is already isolated and only voltage change is required and is CSA certified.
50/60Hz Rated frequency.
And yes, it did work the last time I plugged it in.
