Power, Off‑Grid & Accessories
Batteries: Starter and house battery setup.
Solar Charge Controller: EPEVER 30A MPPT Tracer A-3210AN with MT-50 remote meter (LCD). Ready to connect to solar or wind for house power.
Roof Solar Panel: Installed but untested recently.
Power Outlets: 12v power sockets and USB ports are located throughout the interior.
Converter Wiring: A 110v power inverter.
Backup Camera: Wireless—plugs into 12V head unit; no hardwiring needed.
Included: StowAway Max Hitch Cargo Box with Swingaway Frame. Provides a lot of storage for a weekend of camping.
Exterior
Paint: Black matte — it needs a paint job. The black paint has faded.
Hitch system: Front and rear 2” receivers.
Lighting: Front fog lights & a rear Prairie Falcon 13-in off-road LED flood light bar.
Load anchors: Hooks are installed on the upper exterior sides to carry a kayak or another getaway accessory.
Interior
Bed: Custom cabinetry in the back folds down to make a full-size bed.
Storage: There is a lot of storage under the cabinets and in several cubby holes.
Flooring: The floor is made of foam flooring panels with a synthetic wood look.
Insulation: The van has thermal bubble wrap insulation throughout the walls and ceiling.
Seating: Both front captain's chairs swivel completely around. A removable circular RV-style table can be placed behind them.
Galley: Features a 24×20 utility sink with a 14‑gallon water tank and a SHURFlo 4008 water pump.
Amenities: 110V inverter, USB/12V outlets, and LED lighting are installed.
Customization: A steel track system with eye bolts is anchored to the original steel wall frame, strong enough to hold an adult in a hammock inside the van.
Climate & Ventilation
Front A/C: The front cab A/C works and blows cold air.
Ceiling Fan/Vent: A reversible, automatic Deluxe Fan-Tastic Ceiling Fan Vent is installed in the rear.
Rear HVAC (parts/not setup): The van has parts of a commercial Red Dot heater/AC condenser system, but it is currently non-functional. It would require additional parts to complete the setup, if desired.
Known Fix List
Paint: Cosmetic repaint recommended.
Passenger-side step running board: Loose—requires re-welding or replacement.
Interior roof is sagging and needs to be re-attached/improved or replaced with a better solution. The current solution of 3m adhesive spray becomes loose and needs to be re-applied.
Batteries: Will need to be monitored due to recent inactivity (especially rear house battery).
Owner Background
I purchased this in 2014 at 91k miles from a small dealership that resells police cars; the original owner was the St. Louis County government. Over a decade I slowly built it out with a friend who is a creative craftsman (he is currently storing the van in Anacortes and will be the point of contact to sell it).
This van has been amazing and reliable. It has carried me – and my family – on countless adventures around the Pacific Northwest, including deep into the Cascades where you can park right off an old logging road in a level spot and setup camp without doing much prep. Currently, it’s not getting the love it deserves and has been sitting a lot. It’s time to pass it on to someone who’ll finish the story and keep its spirit alive with their own vision.
