Super cool layout with stepped up galley and settee dining area with big windows to see out. It is rare to be able to just enjoy seeing the water and life while cooking, sitting, eating, even sleeping and stargazing as those settees turn into a big bed which we enjoyed. We so loved that part. We also appreciated her layout in that each bed area was private, nice vberth with door, head with sink in between with door and then big bunk area stepped down from galley dining area. One of our boys slept in the single side bunk too. We had three boys and us and it was great! She is also fast and easy and fun to sail including single hand. Cruising the islands we always arrived before we expected. We also loved her aft seats located attached to the aft rail. Great cockpit… The previous owner was re-doing her but was in his 70s and shifted to a smaller boat. He had beautiful new interior cushions made, new rig, a new head and holding tank, new Rathion navigation console including autopilot just fwd nice big wheel in cockpit, high quality furler jib from profurl, new winches, 6 new line stoppers, water heater, new electronics, new fuel tanks, new opening New Found Metals opening port lights and more. Engine: Perkins 4-108 top end rebuilt, new wet exhaust system, regularly serviced, runs well.

Note: It was a top end rebuild with new wet exhaust system about 4 years ago. Less than 150 hrs since then, don't know actual total hrs overall, but one really only counts hrs since rebuild.

We sailed and lived on her at times as is but a new owner would probably want to work on her inner ceiling: either sand and paint with cork paint or the like to add some insulation or cover with foam or carpeting or other insulative material. She also has some minor leaks- just a sail track on both sides that needs re-bedding. Hull in great condition. She is hauled out at Oak Harbor. Happy to show you her. Her name is Reconteur but we call her Bacon with big smiles and giggles. When we were thinking of a new name I looked at her name and said we could just change the R to B and take off the teur. We also did enjoy some nice bacon aboard! 😀.

Thanks for considering! We would love her to be enjoyed. We have kept her not wanting to part with such a design but we don’t like her just sitting and are busy with other tasks for a bit. We are open to any offers as well in that vain.

For more interior photos email me and I will send a private link.

Only open to in person considerations and money, thank you!
