Wonderful and whimsical Yvonne Davis etching in a custom solid would fancy frame with double matting. Title: "Imitation" and #35/350. Pencil signed and numbered by the artist. Custom solid wood frame with antique silver finish. Certificate of authenticity on the back. Acid free paper and matting. Both the frame and work and in perfect condition.

Size of the frame is 30" wide x 27.5" tall. Size of the exposed image 21.5" 18.5".

Ms. Davis is a contemporary artist from Guemes Island. The image has great pop, sharp lines and detail. It depicts her love of graphic art, sharp lines, and Japanese design. The title speaks to the power of perception: the pansies in the basket are more real than the pansies in the wallpaper but none of these flowers really exist being that they are creations in the 2D world. There is much more to this art than an image of pretty flowers. I love it but have run out of wall space.
