The house is on Camano Island about 1 hour north of Seattle and about 1 hour south of Bellingham. It is at a very easy location with great public transportation. Its 23 minutes from Interstate 5. The house is on the bus line that connects to everywhere you can think of. The island is connected to the mainland by a bridge – so no ferry is required. It’s a teenage rambler with a view of the water and mountains. The beach is a 20-minute walk or 5 minutes downhill by car or bike.
There is very little light pollution so you can see lots more stars at night than you can in a city. It is semi-rural. The house is in a covenanted community. There is no crime here – very safe. There is wild life about such as deer, eagle, hawk, and rabbit. Camano Island is an unincorporated city, but there are enough services of all kinds nearby.
I am looking for someone who is organized, energized (high energy a plus), and visual to help me sort out household goods - that which needs donation, that which is to be kept, and that which may be sold. If there are items that can be sold and you can help with that on ebay or craigslist that is a plus, but not necessary.
I am looking for someone that will trade his or her work here for the use of the master bedroom that is large, furnished, and comfortable. It has its own wash / rest room, shower, and bathtub. It has a slider to the outside where there is a nice concrete patio with outside table, umbrella, and chairs. Internet access is on site. Electric, heat, and garbage pick up included too. There is ample parking available as well. I can let you use the washer and dryer in the main house as needed too.

I am a 50 something fellow with a cat named “Lightning”. There is one other person in the house, and older retired fellow named Ron. We do not drink, smoke, and are quiet.
